Microsoft focuses on the hybrid cloud, acquires Avere Systems in January 2018
The value of the Microsoft hybrid cloud is even more powerful with the acquisition of Avere Systems. The Microsoft Azure team is explicitly focused on removing all barriers for enterprise customers, so that even the most complex technology and policy requirements are uniquely met with Azure. Microsoft believes the hybrid cloud will be the defining IT strategy for your business and is continuing to evolve Azure's capabilities to fit that growing model.
