Enterprise Storage Evolves Beyond All Flash with Storage-Class Memory, Unleashing a New Generation of Innovation
New workload requirements for DX is driving significant interest in new types of high-performance and persistent, memory-based media (storage-class memory [SCM]) and a new memory-optimized protocol for use with solid-state storage called nonvolatile memory express (NVMe). This white paper takes a look at the evolving enterprise storage market where workloads require low latency and high throughput and bandwidth. In addition, it provides a brief look at one of the first enterprise storage offerings based around the technologies emerging to support these requirements: HPE Memory-Driven Flash.
